The procedures for caring for down comforters and duvets are the same:
Down comforters and duvets can be safely washed at home in the washing machine or by using numerous specialized laundries.
It is very important to read the instructions on the label attached to each individual product.
Let’s see together how to read a label using this example:

Washing: at 40°C with neutral detergents, by hand or in washing machine. Use abundant water volume.
Rinsing: repeat several times until water runs clear. Incomplete washing and rinsing can leave stains especially on light-colored fabrics.
Bleaching: do not use chlorine-based products, as they irreversibly damage the down.
Drying: spin moderately and, if possible, tumble dry at 40°C. Do not expose the item to direct sunlight.
Ironing: depends on the fabric, but if recommended on the label, always use a warm iron.
Dry cleaning: where recommended on the label
