How we were, how we shall be

It's very quick to say "we've been around for over a hundred years". In 1890 nothing flew in the sky apart from hot-air balloons and... feathers!
Perhaps the latter is what inspired the farsighted Agostino Molina and we carry it on today with our corporate colour, the blue sky and love for feathers, making them whiter and lighter. In 1890 Italy was led into Eritrea by President Crispi, in America Sitting Bull died - the red-skinned victor over Custer - and Paris had just erected the Eiffel Tower. Then Casa Molina feathers warmed those cold and hard years of the Great War, and stuffed those important upholstered chairs for the signers of peace treaties between nations, or in parlours were discreet witnesses of impassioned amorous declarations. In 1952 they climbed K2, inside the jackets of the Italian mountain-climbing expedition led by Ardito Desio. Nowadays the sky is full of flying things, but there is still something to learn from the birds, from waterfowl, geese and ducks in particular, our best suppliers of feathers and down. A. Molina & C. is, however, not just about feathers. As acknowledged padding specialists we offer the furnishing sector new materials in order to satisfy every requirement of designers and industries that care about performance and total quality. Our story continues with the opening of a new textile finishing department....
