The features of Ingeo®
The fibre comes entirely from corn, is fully eco-compatible and has exceptional qualitative features. It’s soft, guarantees a superior standard of insulation, is elastic and durable, perfectly hypo-allergy, and absorbs great quantities of moisture, making us sleep better. Moreover, it’s very easy-care because it can be conveniently machine washed.

How rises Ingeo® fibre
The fibre is obtained from the treatment of corn, an entirely and easily renewable source. The corn is passes through a delicate process, similar to the one used for the production of yoghurt. Later, some phase of the treatment change the vegetal sugars obtained from this process into a new material called PLA. This new polymer passes through the traditional process for spinning that creates Ingeo® fiber. Producing such a kind of fibers nearly halve the outflow of greenhouse-effect gases in comparison with polyester production and, according to this fact, the consumption of fossil fuels is considerably lowered.
