Downproof fabrics
Description :
Downproof fabrics guarantee air circulation but their tight construction prevents feathers from coming out. This characteristic is related to a mathematical expression, called the Waltz formula, that determines which is the density (called Covering Factor, FC)of the fabric from its construction. EDFA (European Down & Feathers Association) has purposed to the European Union a norm project PAS 1008, with the details of this formula.
